Today many of us are too busy to track down interesting stuff so we retreat where it is easy, at home behind a screen.

We do this for a couple of reasons – first technology is just so great and at home we have it all at our finger tips. It’s easy to turn on the TV, open the laptop, scroll the phone. Going out on the other hand is hard work. We even have to get dressed!

The second problem is that whilst we may think the internet has made it easier to explore the world, the opposite is true. As Tim Berners Lee (the Internet inventor) has said, the internet is a night mare.

All that scrolling!

And it is.

Too many dodgy sources, too many sights trying to capture our email, phone number, address and other details. Too many pop ups and adds … it is hard work.

Many of us have given up.

However there are some powerful reasons not too.

Let’s look at a few.

First the research. It is absolutely true that socialisation is the single biggest contributor to longevity and mental health and happiness. Getting out of the house strengthens friendships, builds shared memories with those we love, deepens our experience and understanding of life and the world. It enriches us. It makes life fuller.

No static list. No best of. Each suggestion is tailored specifically to you.

So you move from interest to actually doing. You start to live these experiences and as you do, we believe our lives get better.

Sharing experiences with our partners, our family and our friends rather than staying home again to watch another series on TV.

You can use it anywhere in the world to make the most of every day. You can also use it to plan holidays and use it whilst you are away to find the very best things to do each day.
